looks like you had a similar problem to me ..

they fucked my stinger when replacing a battery .. actually ... it was Wayne !! but it took a year to get them to fix it after there was no paper trail .. no reciepts for me thanks to Ivan .. and a completely brand new staff base there.

I had a $500 digital watch for a while until i refused to leave them alone .. they ended up replacing the whole watch after Suunto told them they fucked up at DEMA

I didn't bother reading what happened to your stinger yet .. but i may have gone through the same thing .. Chris at divers world is much better at fixing those things and he's not even certified or licensed or whatever.

Alesh or whatever his name is at Divers Supply now doesn't seem to give two shits about the diving community and their service to them even the pro's on island and the ex pro's !! oh well at least I still get my 30% off

yeah that's the same thing that happened to me. and it was Wayne who did my last battery replacement, too! :) Last thing I heard from Ales was he was going to email me the contact info and case # so I could take it up with Suunto, but as far as DS was concerned, they were done with me. and then surprise surprise he never sent me a thing. Assholes.
