Shivering on the 49th Parallel

I wouldnt say that my network is overly complex... but for a wireless network in an apartment, it actually is pretty complex...

The DSL modem brings in the signal and spits it out as a 192.168.1.x address. The modem itself is 192.168.1.1 Wired to that is a Linksys WRT54G Wireless Access Point/Router which is being used as a Wireless Access Point and Switch, and not as a router. It's address is 192.168.1.2 There's also another Linksys WAP54G which is functioning as an Access Point Client (192.168.1.3) and has it's wired ethernet port plugged into a Linksys BEFSR41 4-port router/switch (192.168.1.5) which is being used as a switch. There's also another Linksys WAP54G in the next apartment over which is functioning as a Repeater (192.168.1.4) and is extending the range of the network down to the other end of the apartment building.

In theory, anyway.

The WAP54g Repeater is not making a connection to the WRT54g Router. Any clients that associate to the repeater are not getting any connectivity to the WRT54G, and through it to the modem (for DHCP) and through IT to the Internet. Linksys says it can be done. I've upgraded firmware across the board, and it still doesnt work.

If I can figure it out, I'll post another message here with the solution, as my searching for an answer online has led me nowhere (yet)
